Designing for Constructability: Pre-Built Water Infrastructure Systems to Reduce Risk in Urban Construction

Tuesday, July 28th | 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M.

In urban environments, designing water infrastructure requires coordinating multiple systems within a congested footprint—making constructability a key factor in project success. Wastewater pretreatment, stormwater management, water reuse, and utility infrastructure frequently overlap, each with its own operational goals, regulatory requirements, and construction constraints.

This webinar examines how NWPX’s pre-engineered systems address those challenges by simplifying specification, reducing field assembly, and accelerating installation—all without compromising long-term performance. We’ll explore packaged solutions commonly integrated into municipal and commercial projects, including grease interceptors, oil-water separators, wash water reclamation systems, and runoff diversion systems. Attendees will gain an understanding of the applications, design considerations, sizing methodologies, and constructability advantages of each solution.

Project examples will demonstrate how these systems are applied in complex municipal and commercial projects, from constrained indoor installations to integrated wastewater pretreatment trains. Attendees will also learn how to leverage NWPX’s sizing tools, design resources, and engineering support to improve product selection and specification.

Topics Include:
• Constructability considerations for pre-engineered systems
• Grease interceptors
• Oil-water separators
• Wash water reclamation and runoff diversion
• Integrated pretreatment systems
• Automation and controls
• Sizing tools and specification resources

Who Should Attend:
• Certified plumbing designers
• Plumbing engineers
